Sandoval County celebrates Castelion groundbreaking

January 21, 2026: Sandoval County Commissioners and County Manager joined Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, the executive leadership of Castelion, and other dignitaries at the groundbreaking ceremony for Castelion’s 1,000-acre manufacturing plant in Rio Rancho, NM. More than 100 people attended the event, held at the project site.

The tented venue is ready to welcome guests.

More than 100 people attended, including Sandoval County Commissioners, elected officials, and county management.
