The Information Technology Department supports and maintains the county’s network and computing infrastructure, in addition to providing direction for the planning and design of new networking and computing needs.
The Department also is proactive in maintenance and troubleshooting, attempting at every turn to prevent computing problems before they surface. The group of 10 team members supports the County’s 450 employees.
The networking and systems administrative staff operates an around-the-clock monitoring system that alerts the staff immediately of any network connectivity problems. This team often responds before the end-user has become aware of any problem.
