Sandoval County Health Commons
The Sandoval County Community Health Program and the New Mexico Department of Health have developed a program to provide many services under one roof. The Sandoval County Health Commons was constructed in 2004 with an addition in 2007 and houses a unique partnership of state and county employees to provide select resources. Within the Health Commons, families can access Sandoval County Medicaid Enrollment, Affordable Care Act Enrollment and the County Health Care Assistance Program (HCAP/Indigent Fund), Family Planning Clinic, and the Women Infants and Children (WIC), Children Medical Services and Family Dental Services Care all in one central location. The Health Commons has been successful in providing services to families with a focus on pregnant women, children, teens and older adults. Services include health information, resources, and health services to positively impact the long-term health of families in Sandoval County.
