What We Do
The Sandoval County Public Works Department manages the infrastructure that supports all county government operations.
How We Serve You
The Public Works Department is composed of several divisions. These divisions include:
- The Administration Division is the leadership team that facilitates various projects and provides oversight for the different divisions and their numerous projects/initiatives.
- The Facilities Maintenance Division is responsible for maintaining of all county facilities.
- The Fairgrounds Division handles the maintenance of the County Fairgrounds in Cuba, NM.
- The Project Management Division oversees the design and construction of new, retrofit, and remodel projects for County-owned facilities.
- The Roads Division oversees the maintenance of more than 1,500 miles of roads within the County's jurisdiction.
- The Solid Waste Division operates the county landfill and recycling center.
- The Vehicle Maintenance Division manages the repair and upkeep of all County-owned vehicles.
