Awards and Recognitions for December Commission Meeting

Awards and recognitions were delivered at the December 10, 2025, Sandoval County Board of County Commissioners Meeting.

Battalion Chief Matt Miller retired following 27 years of dedicated service in public safety. During the meeting, Miller was recognized for his commitment to the people of Sandoval County and his leadership during his tenure.

The Sandoval County Treasurer, Jennifer A. Taylor, presented the Award for Completion of the 2025 Sandoval County Treasurer’s Office Junior Treasurer Program to two of her Junior Treasurers, Michael Putkaradze, Junior at the ASK Academy, and Faith Young, Senior at V. Sue Cleveland High School. Through the program, these students experienced firsthand how local government, specifically, the Treasurer’s Office, works. Students will earn elective credits for completing the program.
