After 21 years of dedicated service, Sandoval County Fire Rescue (SCFR) Captain Shannon Farrell was recognized at the August 26, 2026 Sandoval County Commissioner Meeting. SCFR Chief Chris Bagley spoke to the Commissioners about her career and her achievements.
"Shannon has been an integral part of SCFR since its early years, helping shape the department and the people within it. Throughout her career, she has served our community with compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to patient care. Her contributions include helping establish and build SCFR’s Community Paramedic Program, developing the department’s K-9 program, mentoring countless firefighters and paramedics, and setting a standard for patient care and bedside manner that few can match," says Chief Bagley.
Sandoval County Community Services Director Jayme Catanach joined Chief Bagley in presenting a certification thanking Farrell's hard work and commitment.
