Birth and Death Records

The Sandoval County Clerk's Office does not issue certified copies of birth or death records, and we do not retain this information in our office. Please contact the offices listed below for more information about obtaining a certified copy.

Obtaining a Copy of a Birth Record

Only certain individuals are allowed to receive an authorized certified copy of a birth record. An authorized certified copy of a birth record is required to obtain a driver's license, passport, social security card and other services related to an individual's identity. Within the Sandoval County Clerk’s Office, we are not able to issue any certified copies, nor do we retain this information in our office. Please contact one of the following offices if you may need more information in regards to obtaining a certified copy.

Obtaining a Copy of a Death Record

An authorized certified copy of a death record may be required to obtain death benefits, claim insurance proceeds, notify social security and obtain other services related to an individual's identity. Within the Sandoval County Clerk’s Office, we are not able to issue any certified copies, nor do we retain this information in our office.
