Sandoval County is hosting a Hallowedding event for couples looking to get hitched on Halloween Day!
Probate Judge Charles Christmann is dusting off his cape and mask to marry couples during this Halloween themed event, at no cost to the couple getting married. Plus, as an added bonus, the event will be held at Sandoval County’s beautiful El Zócalo Plaza Visitor and Event Center . The location will be decorated in classic Halloween flair so there’s no decorating work for the happy couples and also no charge.
Judge Christmann wants to have fun at this event and really cater to those couples who love Halloween as much as he does. Costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory. See below for the Hallowedding event details and learn how you can reserve your time slot to get married on Oct. 31.
Couples participating in the Hallowedding event will be married in groups of 5 couples and in 20 minute increments between the hours of 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018.
Guests are permitted, but must be noted on the registration form. The only cost to the couple is the cost of the marriage license which must be purchased at the Sandoval County Clerk’s Office for $25 prior to the ceremony. Couples are responsible for providing witnesses who must be 18 years of age or older. Please arrive a little early for your scheduled time slot as it will be a very busy day. Make sure you bring all of the required items with you to the ceremony. *Note: Rehearsals will not be permitted. Couples do not need to live in Sandoval County to participate in the Hallowedding.
