PepperBall Instructor/Armorer Certification:
April 8-9, 2019; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
The PepperBall Instructor/Armorer Certification course involves intensive training in the use of the nonlethal PepperBall System, including operation, safety, maintenance, and deployment. This course certifies attendees as PepperBall Instructors for their individual agency, allowing the attendee to design a course in the safe and effective use of the PepperBall System.
All necessary equipment is provided by PepperBall. A training manual, flash drive, live-fire certification rounds and visual aids are also included. Appropriate training attire should be worn (No shorts, sandals, etc.). Please bring safety glasses. If you wear contacts, please have the ability to remove them at the training site. No firearms or ammo allowed in class.

TASER CEW Instructor Course:
August 22-23, 2019; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
With the release of Version 21, the instructor course has been reformatted to teach both new and recertifying students how to develop and safely execute scenarios and isolation drills, provide more in depth scenario training, and introduce them to Virtual Reality training. Students will learn how to develop and safely implement scenarios, isolation drills and conduct teach backs to hone their Instructor skills.
This online and practical two-day course will certify you to instruct others on the use of one or more of the current TASER Conducted Energy Weapons. The online portion is a pre-requisite to attend the practical days.

- Taser CEW Instructor Certification for X2, X26P and TASER 7: $495.00
- Taser CEW Instructor Certification for X2 and TASER 7: $495.00
- Taser CEW Instructor Certification for X26P and TASER 7: $495.00

Sandoval County does not receive any compensation for allowing the use of the Sandoval County Detention Center training classroom.
