Sandoval resident, Bishop David C. Cooper, (third from right) senior pastor of New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church, Albuquerque, received the  County Proclamation for Black History Month at the February 8, 2023, Sandoval County Commission Meeting. Bishop Cooper has served in ministry for more than 30 years throughout the United States, the Bahamas, and Europe. Commissioner Joshua A.
