On Monday, November 12, Sandoval County will honor military veterans for their service and sacrifice. In observance of Veterans Day, Sandoval County offices and facilities will be closed on November 12. This will include, but is not limited to, the following facilities and programs:

• All Sandoval County Offices
• Sandoval County Landfill
• Cuba Collection Center
• Canon (Jemez) Collection Center
• Pena Blanca Collection Center
• Bernalillo Senior Center
• Corrales Senior Center
• Cuba Senior Center
• Jemez Valley Senior Center
• Placitas Community Center
• El Zocalo Event Center
• DWI Prevention & Intervention Program

Services on November 12 will still be offered by the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Department and the Sandoval County Fire Department. The Sandoval County Detention Center will be in operation, but the administrative offices will be closed and visitation will not be permitted on November 12. All of Sandoval County’s facilities and services will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, November 13.

The Sandoval County website, and services offered through the website, will still be available on Veterans Day.
