  • October 10, 2023
    Books close for online and paper voter registration.
    Voter registration available through SDR – Same Day Registration Sandoval County Administration Building D.
    Absentee Voting Begins
    Clerks begin mailing absentee ballots to voters who have requested them:

    Complete your application online.

  • October 21 - November 4, 2023
    Expanded Early Voting and SDR begins at all polling locations, Monday thru Saturday, locations are open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For ballot drop box locations, Click Here.
     
  • October 24, 2023
    Deadline for Absentee Applications to be received.
    Applications received after the 24th will be rejected, even if it is postmarked on the 24th.
     
  • November 7, 2023
    Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Absentee Ballots are due in the clerk’s office no later than 7:00pm

Military and overseas voting

New Mexicans serving and living overseas may vote in elections in their home state, per federal law. (An FPCA is also considered a request for an absentee ballot. Please submit a new FPCA each year in order to continue to receive an absentee ballot for each election.)
