The Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office has issued a recreational safety reminder to all residents about activities West of Rio Rancho and in the Bosque.

Recently, the Sheriff’s Office has seen an increase in the unlawful discharge of firearms in the mesa area West of the City of Rio Rancho. In an effort to increase awareness to residents and visitors on this crucial public safety concern, the Sheriff’s Office is providing information through local and social media to educate the public.
