September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and the month was recognized by a proclamation sponsored by Sandoval County Vice Chair, Jon Herr, District 2 at the September 9, 2026, Commissioner Meeting.

"I just want to encourage everyone who knows someone who might possibly need help," says the Vice Chair, "Just reach out and look out for your fellow man."
