Sheriff’s Office Warns About Package Theft

The Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office would like county residents to be aware that this time of year is popular for package thieves. They have received reports of package thefts and vehicles following package delivery trucks in a few incorporated areas of the county.

Residents are advised to pick up their packages right away, make arrangements to deliver packages to a neighbor who will be home or make arrangements for pickup of your packages at the post office, UPS or FedEx locations. In addition, residents are urged to contact law enforcement should you see any suspicious vehicles following delivery trucks.
