On Monday, January 21, Sandoval County will celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Sandoval County offices and facilities will be closed on January 21. This will include, but is not limited to, the following facilities:

• Sandoval County Administration Building
• Sandoval County Landfill
• Bernalillo Senior Center
• Corrales Senior Center
• Cuba Senior Center
• Jemez Valley Senior Center
• Placitas Community Center
• Assessor’s Office
• Bureau of Elections
• Clerk’s Office
• Probate Office
• Treasurer’s Office

Public safety services on January 21 will still be offered by the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Department and the Sandoval County Fire Department. The Sandoval County Detention Center will be in operation, but the administrative offices will be closed and visitation will not be permitted on January 21. All of Sandoval County’s facilities will reopen for regular business hours on January 22.
