Holiday Craft Fair Dec. 6


Sandoval County will be hosting a craft fair on Dec. 6 on the first floor of building D, on 1500 Idalia Road in the town of Bernalillo. Sandoval County has officially sold out of booths for the Dec. 6 event.

THE OVERVIEW OF BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS:
Those who requested electrical spaces have been placed in close proximity to a standard electrical outlet if we had availability. If you need multiple plugs, please be sure to bring your own power strip to plug in (ensure it is in good working condition and UL approved). In addition, the County will provide the table and two chairs for each booth, vendors are responsible for any table coverings they wish to use at their booth. Our tables are 6ft rectangles.
VENDOR LOAD-IN AND SET UP:
Load in and setup for vendors may begin as early as 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7. Parking is free and available on site. However, the site does not have a loading dock. Therefore, please be prepared to walk your merchandise, and any set up items you may need, into the building. It is recommended that vendors be prepared with a hand truck, cart or dolly to make set-up and teardown more efficient. Table will be labeled with booth numbers and vendor names to make finding your booth easier. We also have an elevator in the event we need to utilize the second floor for vendor overflow.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
The one day Sandoval County Holiday Craft Fair will have time for vendor set up, sales to the public and vendor teardown/clean up. Below you’ll find the schedule for the day.
 Vendor Set-Up – 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  Holiday Craft Fair – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Vendor Teardown/Clean Up – 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
**Please note that the County facility is a public building and will still be in operation on the day of this event. Because of this, we ask that you maintain emergency egress and set up only where designated. Please do not block any entrances/exits, doorways or pathways. This will ensure the County is still able to handle regular business during this event.
SIGNAGE & WALL USAGE:
A few vendors have asked if they can hang some of their item on a wall if their booth backs a wall. You may do so, but must do so in a manner that will not cause damage to the wall or paint. Anyone who wishes to use tape, may only use painters tape on County walls or columns.
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
The Sandoval County Administration Building does not have a café or regular food vendor. We do have a soda machine and vending machine in the atrium. We will also have 2-3 food trucks on site serving
breakfast and lunch foods in our parking lot. You are welcome to bring food to feed yourselves or your booth workers for the event. We also have several fast food restaurants and regular restaurants up the street from our facility on the 528.
RESTROOMS:
Restrooms used for the event will be inside the County’s main administration building next to the event space. We will have a staff volunteer monitoring the restrooms to replenish products on site outside the first floor restrooms for the entire event. The restrooms are ADA compliant.
LICENSES:
As a reminder, it is up to the individual business/crafter/artisan to determine any need for a license or permit, and to obtain any necessary licenses and permits, and to be responsible for any and all taxes owed for their sales at the event.
RAFFLE CARDS:
In an effort to ensure that folks visit your booth, we will be doing a raffle card again like last year. The card has the name of each vendor and every attendee will have one. They can go to each vendor booth to get their card signed or stamped and then turn it in for a chance to win raffle prizes. You’ll want to be sure to bring a colored pen or stamp for this activity. So please be prepared to initial or stamp raffle cards for attendees.
RAFFLE PRIZES:
If any vendors would like to donate prizes for the raffle drawings, the donations would be greatly appreciated. We can accept those on the day of the event at the Vendor Check-in Booth/Raffle Booth. We greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide with this portion of the event.
EVENT MANAGEMENT ON EVENT DAY:
If at any time on event day, you need to get in touch with event management, please visit the Admin Raffle Card Booth which will be booth #8. I will be there for a good portion of the set up and event day, however, we will also have other staff members manning specific hours at the booth who can assist you with any questions on event day.
