County Co-Hosts Save-A-Life Youth Sobriety Pow-Wow

On Sunday, May 26, 2019, Sandoval County will be one of the co-hosts for the annual Save-A-Life Youth Sobriety Pow-Wow. This local event is co-hosted by the Sandoval County Tribal Consortium and the Sandoval County DWI & Prevention Program. The event instills Native youth sobriety through cultural traditions and heritage. It is a drug and alcohol free event with free admission and lots of activities for the entire family.

The event will take place at Rotary Park (370 Rotary Park Road, Bernalillo, NM 87004) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some of the activities and events taking place include:

  • Gourd Dance
  • Arts & Crafts Vendors
  • Food Vendors
  • Tiny Tots Competition
  • Junior Competition
  • Teen Competition
  • Drum Contest
  • Head Woman Jingle Dress Contest
  • Raffles
