A Grand Grand Opening on Veterans Day

November 11, 2022 — Norman and Sandy Ruth of Deluxe Design take a moment out of the festivities on Friday, November 11 to pose with Sandoval County Commissioners Katherine A. Bruch, District 1 (far left) and Vice Chair David J. Heil, District 4 (far right) at the Grand Opening of the new Deluxe Design facility. This business celebration was held in concert with a Special Veterans Day Recognition Event sponsored by the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce, Deluxe Design, 3D Security, and GD Psyche Services. Deluxe Design creates visual magic for its clients through turnkey projects that include music festivals and large-scale events, custom signage, awards, plaques, screen printing, and more, and its founders are well-known and respected in our business community.

Deluxe Design is a homegrown success story with an impressive track record of overcoming unexpected challenges and pushing forward to expand and succeed. During the pandemic, Sandy (President) and Norman (Vice President) Ruth reached out to the Sandoval County Business and Economic Development Department to explore programs for financial assistance as the 35-year-old company like so many businesses was experiencing a bleak period in its history. Through the CARES (Coronavirus, Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act managed by the County, and other programs from federal, state and city sources, the outcome was successful, as evidenced by its new 24,000 square-foot facility. The most recent partnership is among Deluxe Design, which is investing $5 million in its expansion, and the State, which is awarding a $250,000 Local Economic Development Act grant, and Sandoval County and the City of Rio Rancho that are pledging $75,000  each. This expansion will create 30 new full-time jobs over the next several years. Deluxe Design is located at 3646 NM Hwy 528 NE, Rio Rancho, N.M. 887144.
