St. Felix Awarded County Contract to Provide Mobile Food Pantry

The Community Services Division is privileged to announce our expanded partnership and support of St. Felix Pantry, a Sandoval County based nonprofit providing essential services within the community for decades.

To help provide low-income residents in rural regions with greater access to healthy foods, the Community Services Division will host the Mobile Food Pantry according to the following schedule:

  • The County’s Pena Blanca Community Center will host the mobile food pantry on the first and third Monday of every month from 10a – noon beginning January 15, 2018 (and a great way to honor MLK!)
  • The County’s Jemez Valley Center will host the mobile food pantry on the second and fourth Monday of every month from 10a – noon beginning January 22, 2018.
  • The County’s Cuba Village Senior Center will host the mobile food pantry on the second and fourth Monday of every month from 1:30p – 3:30p beginning January 22, 2018.

While there are no age restrictions for this service, County residency is required and you must meet low-income guidelines. To see if you might qualify or to learn more, please contact St. Felix Project Manager Mary Andre at 891-8075.

And should you wish to volunteer, please contact the respective Center directly, which will also have posted informational flyers providing area-specific information.
