On May 17, the Sandoval County Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved $75,000 in LEDA funds for Ideum, LLC, a local company based out of Corrales, NM.

Ideum, LLC submitted an application to the County earlier this year for assistance under the LEDA ordinance. The application detailed how the funding would be used for development and tenant improvements on an additional property recently purchased to expand the company’s operations and production facilities in Corrales. Doing so would add an additional 5,419 square feet of space for production and an additional six full-time employees before June 30, 2019. Average salaries for the six new positions is expected to be in the $60,000 range.

The approval of this LEDA funds application marks the second time Ideum, LLC has received LEDA money. The company received $75,000 in 2016 from the State of New Mexico.
